Blog....or Sleep?

Seriously....that's what it has come down to! Unfortunately, extra activities of mine are at an all time low, which means this blog {if I have ANY readers left} is what has suffered the most. Well, this & my Etsy shop, but that is a whole other story!

I wanted to do a post of all the wonderful ornaments I received in the ornament swap I did, but I haven't even taken pictures of them yet! Here are some links to the other players sites if you would like to check them out. Thank you so much to all the others, I love the ornaments and they are all on my studio tree looking beautiful!

Thanks for posting those great pics! It was a fun swap. If I ever make it back up in my studio, I'll post some pics of the hostess gift I made Heather.

Well, that is a long enough post with no pretty pictures! Until next time....

Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! ~Lisa

I'm Still Here...

Just really far behind and not feeling great. 'Tis the Season, I guess! I had an order for 50 Angel Ornaments for Christmas gifts. That was quite the assembly line! I had parts for 80 Angels, most for the special order, then the rest for the Holiday Gift Show I am hosting on Sunday. Yes, THIS Sunday. Am I all ready? NO. The house has finally started to be decorated, the tree is in the house {not decorated} and I bought all the desserts rather than make them. Time crunch. Here are some pictures of my mass angel production:
Cut out & grind glass, count marbles, wings & lead...

Clean it all up & solder together...

Attach heads....

With wings, halos and all bagged up! I guess that has taken up a bit of the past few weeks! Thanks to everyone who helped me with those!!

That cute little cupcake up at the top of the post is a result of a new book by Betz White, Warm Fuzzies. Cute book, and adorable felt projects. I made this cupcake in about 10 minutes out of an old sweater! Check out her website if you have time! http://www.betzwhite.com/

Well, back to creating, I only have about 48 hours til I need to be done making things!

Have a great Thursday, Lisa
